How to become a vendor at our farmers markets
We do not have an on-line application system. If you are interested in selling at our markets, please first read about "Who sells in our markets."
Our market schedules are full for the 2012 season. If you are a farmer and want to inquire about selling space in the future, please contact us in November. Farm products we are potentially interested in include: eggs, figs, lentils, herbs, saffron, wild mushrooms, buffalo, fish, shellfish, poultry, cultivated mushrooms, farmstead cheeses/dairy products, and unique or heirloom crops that are not already represented at our markets.
Market vendors must have all licenses and permits secured in order to sell (Health Dept, Business license, etc).

We do not have room for all types of food products, and we have no more space this season for aditional ready-to-eat foods and processed foods vendors. Our priority is to provide direct-market space to local farms. For processed/prepared foods, we are especially interested in products made from local farm ingredients, yet which do not compete with, or duplicate, the value-added products made by the farmers themselves. We do not have space for "fairground" foods such as hot dogs, cotton candy, kettle corn, etc. We do not include crafts or other non-food businesses in our markets.
The NFMA is a private non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization and our markets are private events to which we welcome the public. We screen applicants for space and reserve the right to refuse space to anyone.
