Broadway Farmers Market
Hours: Sundays, 11am to 3pm, YEAR-ROUND except Dec 29 (we'll be closed on the last Sunday of 2013, then back again for the full year on Jan 5, 2014).
Location: Broadway Ave E and E Pine Str (at Seattle Central Community College). Street parking on Broadway is free on Sundays. Scroll down for directions and public transportation info.

This popular Sunday destination (since 2004!) features a full selection of local, in-season fruits and vegetables from Puget Sound and Eastern Washington, farmstead cheeses, fresh baked goods, organic and pasture-raised meats, seafood, honey, eggs, cut flowers, and spring plant starts. At the start of the season, look for early greens, baby turnips, tender asparagus, and tangy rhubarb. As summer heats up and ripens to fall, you'll find all kinds of local berries, cherries, peaches, apricots, herbs, greens, summer and winter squashes, tomatoes, peppers, root vegetables, apples, pears, mushrooms, and more. We're now open YEAR ROUND, so you can eat local for the holidays too!
DOG POLICY: this market does allow dogs in the market. Dogs owners: please be mindful of others and make sure your dogs are well-behaved.

From I-5 North, take the Stewart Street Exit and go East toward Denny Way. Turn slightly right on to Stewart Street. Turn left on to Denny Way, and head up the hill (crossing the freeway) to Olive Way. Turn left on to Olive Way, and follow it as it curves slightly, up to Broadway. Make a right on Broadway and go to E. Pine Street.
From I-5 South, take the Olive Way exit, and head up the hill on Olive to Broadway.
Bus routes 8, 10, 11, 43, 49 and 60 provide service to within a few minutes walk of the market.
*Our market will have a lovely new, permanent home upon the completion of the Link Light Rail Station at Broadway, in 2016. Details will be posted nearer to that date.
