Farmers Markets are Seattle's best places to find locally-grown, seasonal (and delicious) farm-fresh food. In July, you'll find more and more berries, cherries, apricots and other summer fruit, beautiful heirloom lettuces, all kinds of greens, artichokes, bunches of fresh herbs, shallots, leeks, celery, radishes, fennel, broccoli, carrots, fava beans, cauliflower, sweet peas and sugar snap peas, hothouse tomatoes and literally dozens of other veggies...plus farmstead cheeses, pasture-raised meats and poultry (including goat, chicken, beef, pork), local seafood, eggs, honey, jams, ciders, wild mushrooms, dried fruits, pickles and flower bouquets.
