All proceeds support the Neighborhood Farmers Market Alliance's low-income programs, free community events, local food education, and farmer advocacy.  This event also provides essential support for the NFMA's Good Farmer Fund, which helps local farmers with disaster relief in the event of extreme storms, flooding and other hardships.

The Neighborhood Farmers Market Alliance is a community-based 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preserving Washington farmland, helping family farms thrive and grow, and educating consumers about the importance of supporting local agriculture.  The NFMA organizes seven farmer/food-only markets in Seattle where city dwellers can buy directly from local, diverse and sustainable farms. Local family farms are essential to the health of our food systems, our environment, and our local economy...and provide us with an unparalleled variety of seasonal harvests.  All seven NFMA farmers markets accept food stamps, WIC and Senior coupons, and donate over 40,000 pounds of food to local food banks each year.
