Conceived by local celebrity chef Tamara Murphy, this is one of Seattle's premier food events, showcasing an astounding variety of local flavors. Held at Swanson's Nursery - a stunning setting of enormous greenhouses, high ceilings and room for 300 guests. Twenty-five of Seattle's best chefs are paired up with market farmers who provide the raw ingredients for each dish. Guests with sample 25 gourmet dishes featuring fresh ingredients from regional farmers, ranchers, fishers and foragers, enjoy excellent local, Salmon Safe certified wines, and meet the chefs and farmers behind the food. The event also features country-fair-style games with fabulous prizes, a silent auction with EXCLUSIVE opportunities to experience local farms and gourmet food, and great live music.
All proceeds from this event directly support the Neighborhood Farmers Market Alliance's low-income programs, free community events, local food education, and farmer advocacy. This event also provides essential support for the NFMA's Good Farmer Fund, which helps local farmers with disaster relief in the event of extreme storms, flooding and other hardships.

The Neighborhood Farmers Market Alliance is a community-based 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preserving Washington farmland, helping family farms thrive and grow, and educating consumers about the importance of supporting local agriculture. The NFMA organizes seven farmer/food-only markets in Seattle where city dwellers can buy directly from local, diverse and sustainable farms. Local family farms are essential to the health of our food systems, our environment, and our local economy...and provide us with an unparalleled variety of seasonal harvests. All seven NFMA farmers markets accept food stamps, WIC and Senior coupons, and donate over 40,000 pounds of food to local food banks each year.
